In the coverage of 28 Years Later Alex Garland is quite open about the fact that playing Resident Evil provided a strong spark of inspiration for the first film. I find it weird that I've never heard a filmmaker admit to taking inspiration from a game in that way and it's a nice contrast to the insistance that the Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning train sequence wasn't inspired by Uncharted 2. What other non-adaptation films in the past 20 years do you suspect have taken scenes or ideas from games?
Hello there.
As we now know that Ralph likes prog rock/metal I really think he should give the band named after him (lol) a chance.
From Croatia: The Ralph - D.I.G. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDucqxp0pyY).
Another recommendation, from Denmark: VOLA - Stray the Skies (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EipdyUZfrG0).
VOLA are superb.
+1 to Caligula's Horse.
To throw in some others for a good eclectic mix (not necessarily prog rock/metal):
Coheed and Cambria
The Omnific (Aussie band, all instrumental and sick basslines)
Leprous
Polyphia
Hi Friends (per second),

Hi friends!! Long time gen-z listener here! (epically escaping the target demographic age range)
Hope you are all having a fantastic day<3
My question is, what tips would you have for a very dedicated gamer just starting their 20s?
How was your experience tackling adulthood for the first time while also trying to balance it with your hobbies?
