Amazing episode as always. As for a question I always love to know if there was a narrative that touched you on a personal level?
For example for me Plague tale requiem, tore my heart out and burned it to bits. I'm a big sister myself and the age gap between me and my little brother is almost the same as Amicia and Hugo, so it was an emotional rollercoaster for me.
Want you all to know it's a real highlight whenever the FPS video goes live in my YouTube and I get to enjoy listening during my commute. Keep it up, team.
Ralph, this isn't directly tied to this episode, but I finally got to KCD2 (after your glowing review a while ago) and wow is it brilliant. I would have skipped the game thinking it likely wasn't for me, but it's very much for me and I'm loving it. (Aside from Innkeeper Betty's weird switch in voice actor.)
Which makes me ask: has there been a game you weren't going to play but it was only due to a friend's recommendation that you picked it up and it then ended up being a favourite game?
So glad Alanah has been joining the podcast lately! I’ve always enjoyed her on the podcast.
Great episode and great Substack. Thank you Lucy!
Australian here. We call it a torch. Ralph is wrong, Alanah and Mum is correct. Settled.
Can confirm. It's a torch down in Melbourne.
