Неу!

I was curious if when you were kids if there was ever a video game character that you tried to base your personality off of? To this day I still try to act as cool as Leon Kennedy. Love the show and have been listening since the beginning! Thanks!!

Hi team, big fan of the podcast. As a Dad gamer I find myself increasingly time poor and unable to sink countless hours into games anymore.

One of my biggest gripes in games is the inability to save where I want so I can pick up where I left off (e.g. bonfires in dark souls or meditation rings in Jedi survivor). I feel like this walls off certain games I'm interested in since I don't have time to play them up until certain checkpoints.

Great game examples include Baldur's gate 3 and Hades which allow for fluid saving.

This leads me to my question, are there any accessibly options you would like to see applied to a wider array of games? And why?

User question:

What mythologies and cultures would you like games to explore more?

Wudup!

I was wondering if any of you had TV, film, or gaming traditions you keep every year. For instance I like to re-watch The Sopranos through autumn & play Max Payne every Christmas.

Thanks, Nic

User Q for Skill Up: You're always talking about how great Aussie coffee is (and how shit US coffee is). I have a friend from Australia visiting the US next month and want them to bring some good ole Aussie coffee. Any recommendations?

With the new Ghost of Yotei being announced and it not being a true sequel. Instead set in a different time period location and main character what other games or franchises do you wish or want to take this type of leap instead of a traditional sequel like god of war 2018 to ragnarok.

Hey hey!!

Love the pod!!

So, I was wondering if you have a niche game genre/theme you're interested in? For example I studied horses for 3 years (and I ride for 10+ yrs) of my life so I'm in the niche spot of horse games, and interacting in certain groups that share the same interest.

Just curious to know the "weird" little games you came up with .

P.s: the horse game industry is going through something right now, horse people are demanding for a higher quality games and starting to get "picky" instead of eating every and any game that has a horse.

Now there's even a dev focusing on storytelling as well, rather than focusing only on the horse. "Windstorm: legend of khiimori" for those interested.

Have a nice day ❤️

I'm kinda glad the PS5 Pro is underwhelming as I took a punt on the Steam Deck OLED instead (also super expensive in Australia). I did this in part due to how much everyone rates it on the podcast. It's also wiped out the FOMO I've had for PC and Xbox games not on PS5 over recent times and I feel vindicated by Sony's fumble on the Pro

I hope Bioware pulls it off with DA:tV , but at the same time some local news outlet near my localhost is noting, after a hands-on ofc, that the game seems fine but the character building of party members seem lackluster and/or 'more miss than hit', so.. here's me who was fretting they were being held at Nerf-point to re-release another squad-based singleplayer experience, the likes of which we haven't seen since DA2, y'know?

I like multiplayer games, but I come from and prefer singleplayer, as not all of my friends irl prefer the same type'a genre.

Thanks.. Hope you'll bounce back BioW, obv.
