I decided to sub to Game Pass for a month to give Avowed a go. If I really like it, I'll give it a full purchase via Steam. I like this model, though I hope financially it works for devs and that Obsidian do well out of Avowed. I see there's a Day 1 patch that addresses some of the tier/leveling concerns, though I'm kind of surprised this didn't get picked up during testing and development.
Anyway, excited to give it a whirl before my life gets sucked into MH: Wilds.
User question (possibly asked before, apologies if so): does the process of reviewing games (often to a tight schedule) diminish any of the enjoyment of games for you?
Following on from the talk about old TV ads from the UK and Ireland in Episode 62 I'd be remiss to mention Rahul's appearance in an ad for Envirofone. From humble beginnings to Sony First Party, you love to see it
Is there any way to list the game you're currently talking about? You guys drop these awesome indie gems and get so into it, I forget the title of the game. Last one I caught was Thank Goodness You're Here! Which I really dug. Anyway thanks, the podcast is awesome.
Yeah dude I'm just lazy. Gotta remember to go back and check that. There are a few I'm trying to remember like The Rootrees and Skate Story when that drops
We're figuring out the best way to do this - it adds a bunch of post-production time, but we started using a new software to record, so might be able to add them in while we are recording. Definitely something we want to do :)
User Question : Hello! I am a working chef in the midwest, and I look forward to the podcast bi weekly! I find myself listening to it while I get prep work done and while doing orders before and after service. My question is this, what do you guys think qualifies you as a “gamer?” and do you think identifying yourself as such is important or superficial? I find with such a demanding job I find that consuming games media is much more attainable for me because I don’t necessarily have the available time to dedicate to playing games as much as I’d like. Can I identify as a gamer? or am I simply just someone who likes games media? Thanks and keep it up!
Great listen, thanks all.

User Question: If you guys had to play and complete a game together which game would you choose and why.

They've got the "Games mentioned" section in the text in the post, along with the bullet points of who was playing what, in case you missed those.

Yeah The Rootrees is definitely on my wishlist after Lucy's mention of it.
