We chat with CDPR about Ciri, new weapons, the lore & more in The Witcher 4 | Friends Per Second #60
It's The Game Awards special!
We finally hit 60 FPS! 🥁
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Not because it’s the holidays, but because we just had The Game Awards, where gaming’s Santa Geoff Keighley brought us awards, performances, and World Premieres galore because we’ve been so good this year.
Okay, I’ve stretched that metaphor as far as it can possibly go.
Lucy and Jake were in the audience in Los Angeles, basking in the glory of Harrison Ford, but sadly the crew was down one Skill Up, who’ll explain on the pod why he wasn’t able to make it this year. Nevertheless, we managed to pull together a big show with Tamoor Hussain co-hosting and a chat with CD Projekt Red’s Sebastian Kalemba and Gosia Mitręga to dig for details on The Witcher 4.
We also recap our favourite reveals from the show before chatting about how much we’re all loving Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
This is our last show for 2024, but we’ll be back in January. A huge thank you to every single one of you who has listened to the show this year, we can’t tell you how much we appreciate it. We’ve got big plans for 2025 and beyond, and we hope you’ll come along for the ride. Happy holidays!

As I said up top, a huge thank you for all the support this year, it means the world. Now tie your shoes and go to bed <3
Happy new year! 2024 was, the year of indies dominating, the year of gacha launches, the year of live service dumpster fires, and the year of RPGs. What will 2025 be?
Haven't listened to all of it yet but great as always. Shame you missed your flight, Ralph, but I will use this as fuel to convince my wife that leaving with enough time to get to the airport is actually a thing. ;)
